Industrial Focus of EBCCSP 2018

One of important industrial applications of event-based control and signal processing are solar technologies. The 4th International Conference on Event-Based Control, Communication and Signal Processing EBCCSP 2018 highlights the industrial perspective of solar technologies to make aware researchers and practitioners of technical challenges of solar energy capture, conversion, storage and distribution.

Solar Energy Day – the second day of the conference will take attendees to the beautiful Pyrenees to visit solar energy stations: Themis at Targessonne, and Solar Furnace at Odeillo. The attendees will have an opportunity to visit the solar station facilities. The visits will be complemented with presentations introducing the facilities and, overall EU policies behind solar energy, as well as updates on the emerging technologies and trends.

Perpignan is the capital of the Pyrénées-Orientales department in southern France. Perpignan was the capital of the former province and County of Roussillon (Rosselló in Catalan) and continental capital of the Kingdom of Majorca in the 13th and 14th centuries. Located on the Mediterranean coast, 1.5 hours by TGV from Barcelona and 2 hours from Toulouse.
